Sophie Eliza is here!!!!

Our new BEAUTIFUL princess is here. I just can't stop looking at her. She's so precious! And thanks to an amazing delivery I'm not so doped up on meds that I can actually enjoy her. Her delivery was so amazing I just might be able to do this again in a couple of years.

Went to my dr's visit earlier this week. I was super stressed over the timing of the baby. He checked me and said I could go to the hospital immediately and be induced. Why not try it right?
7 hours later, 6-7 pushes, beautiful baby girl. More details later. Exhausted and ready for sleep--hopefully!

He's the best

He really is. My husband is the most amazing man. Not just because he
can install a new hot water heater a few hours after it breaks
save us tons of money fixing electrical stuff for the new owners of our house
can fix almost everything on our vehicles
spends a couple hours sanding wood blocks for my crazy craft projects without complaining
changes diapers
entertains our children
is our girls hero
teaches them proper values and the gospel
looks amazing in a suit or dark denim jeans
gets me anything I need because I'm in too much pain to get it myself
makes me pee my pants from laughing so hard
helps everyone else when they need something
creates a program that is helping translators translate so much ridiculously faster even though he isn't a programmer
has the weight of the world on his shoulders and still acts like the sweetest, most caring person in the world

He doesn't usually care for public braggings like this but he so deserves it. What I'm looking forward to the most this week as we hopefully have this baby is having another adventure with him. I love when we are on the same page, working TOGETHER on the same goal. I love going on vacation with him and the girls because we do work so well together as a team in helping our family have fun. He is so flexible, funny, witty, caring, generous and I love him to pieces! Richard you are the best. How did I ever deserve you????

Housing Update

So, thanks to the prayers of many we had a miracle! Some of you may remember we said if we didn't get an offer by a few Mondays back we'd take the house off the market? Well, we got 2 offers that day. It was really hard choosing which offer to accept but we made a choice and we're a week or two away from closing. The people who are buying are going to rent the house out and we are going to rent the house from them until the end of December probably. We put an offer in on the house we've wanted for months and months. It may take a really long time to even see if we get it. There are 2 other offers on the table. We'll see what happens in the next few months.

Now we're moving on to baby... she'll be here soon. Here I am at 36 weeks:

Halloween

Scooping the Goop:

Note to Self: Take pictures of kids in costumes BEFORE they go out--after clearly doesn't work.

Homemade (clearly) Pinata for after Trick or Treating fun. Thanks Curious George for giving someone an obsession with Pinatas. I'm just glad we satiated that desire--for a little while at least.

Kate's Birthday

Kate is 2! We had a wonderful day celebrating Kate. I got a lot more pictures of Kate's Birthday than Abi's. Mommy is imperfect. Kate opened presents then the girls played. Kate's favorite was the horse Abi gave her. (she's a little obsessed with horses). Then Thanksgiving point to see the animals. Her favorite part of the day was riding the horse I'm sure. (Ask her what the horse says and she'll say "yee-haw").
We rode a horse drawn wagon and fed the goats. Then we went to Mama Chus because we thought from the last time we went that she would love it. She was too busy and didn't want to eat. Oh well. Back home for a nap. Later Grandma and Papa visited and we got to eat her Cookie Monster Cupcakes.

Girls Day Out & Haunted Houses

Making Halloween Haunted Houses:

We had a gift card to Mama Chus that expired one Friday and so I decided to take the girls out for fun and lunch. We went down to Riverwoods and played in the water fountain thingy (where the water just shoots out of holes in ground). Then we walked around and of course there had to be a big huge teddy bear outside of Blickenstaffs. A worker came out to check on us and ended up giving us free tickets for the carousel at Provo Beach Resort so we went and enjoyed that. Then went to Mama Chus. First time going out to eat just me and the girls. We had a blast. They were so good. Kate ate a ton. They brought out mild salsa for her. She was in Heaven. Abi didn't like the food as much but she still had fun. I had a great time just spending time with my little girlets.

Abi's Birthday

Can you believe Abi is 4!?!?!? We can't. We had a wonderful time celebrating her big day.
Pirate coins leading to her birthday presents started the day.
Playing with new toys followed.
Friends arrived.
Pirate lunch party ensued.
Richard took the whole day off--couldn't have done it without him.
Kids were hilarious holding their own conversations at the table. H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S & priceless!
Treasure hunt and present opening.
Kids went home.
Nap! Even birthday girl slept.
Provo Beach Resort (Had the place to ourselves!)
Dinner
Grandma & Papa Visited
Icky Cake (it so didn't turn out)
Pretty awesome 4th birthday. We love our Abigail!
