Support a Great Cause - Walk for Lupus Now

Join me and my family at the walk tomorrow, May 1st at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. We are walking in behalf of Missy Ackerson--Richard's cousin's wife. She has been in the hospital for like 3 weeks and we just really want to do what we can to support her. You can sign up for the walk or you can just donate to the cause. Go to http://www.firstgiving.com/missyackerson for more info.
We're praying for you Missy!!!!

California

Below you'll find posts from each day of our trip. I did one each night so it will be backwards--you also have to click on older posts to see them all. It was an awesome trip. My most favorite and yes--most relaxing trip ever. Beat that with 2 kids. It was fabulous. Wish we were still there--indefinitely. Oh well. Back to life.

Bye Bye California

This morning we considered staying an extra day. We had so much fun. But we knew we had to eventually come home. We had a great trip back. The girls were great. Kate needed me to sit in the back with her the last little bit but other than that, it was fabulous. We stopped in Vegas' Chinatown and bought Abi her own Budha. She is obsessed with Budha. We whipped out a few more present suprises and there were no complaints from Miss Abigail Maye.
Here we are starting our day:

Hooray for the nice postal worker who asked to take our picture. How nice!

I pulled this piece of arsenal out--great times. Abi was pretty excited.

She was kind enough to share with Kate. Kate didn't want to give it back though...Can you blame her?

Abi got so sticky from this lillipop. She stirred at one point and started licking her lips and then she started licking her fingers and then settled back down. It was the funniest thing.

California - Day 5

Today we went to the Santa Ana Zoo & Newport Beach. Abi didn't want to leave either. Kate could have done without the beach. Sand and a sticky from sun screen lotion covered baby do not mix. We followed up the day with a swim in the pool (well, daddy and Abi swam in the hot tub because someone is a chicken when it comes to non-hot water) and a visit to Ihop.

Kate - AKA Mess Face. This is how she looked after eating her first ever piece of toast.

Watching the bald eagle.
Happy Kate:
The ever busy, running Abi.
Just cute:
Feeding the goats--she would get this face every time and then clap a few times after she fed them. It was pretty funny.

Such a big girl:
Sand covered baby:
the beach!!!! these clothes didn't last long. I had Kate and Richard was chasing Abi as she ran towards the ocean. I was putting Kate's feet in when I noticed a kid next to me totally get mauled by the wave. I look over and notice it is my kid! It totally caught Abi off guard but she was a happy sport. I changed her into her swimming suits and she couldn't stop moving she was so giddy.

California - Day 4

Today's post mostly has pictures of Abi because Kate was asleep during all of the rides. She was tired today! So to start out, here is a cute picture of Kate.

We started off the day with another great breakfast at the hotel and then Astro Blasters and it's a small world at Disneyland. Kate slept in the stroller the whole time so we took turns.

Since today was our last day and we'd seen a lot and Abi was finally used to everything, we tried to let her pick more of what she wanted to do. We stopped when she wanted to and found fun in the little things:

Someone didn't like to get her picture taken--this is the only way we could at least get her face:

We went to Playhouse Disney today. That and the parade last night were by far the best parts of Disneyland. It was awesome and the girls loved it! Then we went back to the hotel to rest and eat. It was soooo nice being right across from the park. Then we went back to the park for our dinner reservation!

Dinner at Ariel's Grotto:

Abi gave the princesses such sweet hugs. She was pretty excited. It was a lot of fun.

Here's Cinderella:

Sleeping Beauty--She was a little bit snooty:

Check out our sweet sticker earrings:

Kate was happy to eat. :) She didn't care about the princesses.

Abi's favorite was Snow White. She was so excited to meet her.

After dinner, Kate did more of this:
