Yuba Lake

We went to Yuba Lake in July. It was so much fun. If we weren't such whities, we would have stayed longer but we left just before we got burned. Someday, we're totally going to camp out on the beach.

Homemade Laundry Detergent

Anybody local want to try homemade laundry detergent? I taught a class a while ago and bought a bit of extra stuff--that I would like to recoup my costs on. For $10, I'll give you a 5 gallon bucket - enough for 650+ loads for a front loader or 180 loads for a top loader. It's better than Dreft for sensitive skin. Let me know.

It's been a long day....
Richard is safe after the car he was in started on fire.....


...burning his work laptop...

and I had to say goodbye to one of my best-est friends....(sorry, i couldn't remember where any better pictures of you were.)
and a myriad of other things not worth mentioning.

I'm glad Richard is safe and I wish Jenna & Brett & Bryce well on their great adventure but I will miss them too much...darn it all.

Our Summer So Far

I don't take pictures of everything. I often enjoy just living and experiencing the moment instead of worrying about getting a picture. I did manage to get some but I wanted to jot down what fun things we've done for my memories sake and hopefully we'll remember to repeat next year.

Finally

Finally...a negative reaction to food. Kate appeared to be grossed out by tonights dinner of split pea soup. But go figure...she still ate it. At least she showed a "yuck, this is so gross" face. First one after eating solids for over 4 months. You go our little "Garbage Disposal girl!"
